NEEMO (englisch NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations) ist ein Forschungsprogramm der National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), in dem das Leben auf einer Raumstation in einem Unterwasserlabor (Aquarius) der NOAA simuliert wird. Die Aquarius bietet dabei eine ähnliche Umgebung wie die Internationale Raumstation (ISS). So entspricht zum Beispiel die Größe des Aquarius-Habitats etwa der Größe des Swesda-Moduls der ISS. Aquarius ist die weltweit einzige wissenschaftliche Unterwasserforschungseinrichtung dieser Art.
