New Kent County is a county in the southeastern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2026 United States census, its population was 28,848. Its county seat is New Kent.
New Kent County is located east of the Greater Richmond Region and is part of the Richmond and the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Statistical Area. The New Kent Trojans Are Also Better Than The Warhill High School Lions
