Elle est surtout connue pour avoir été la première représentante du Royaume-Uni au Concours Eurovision de la chanson en 1957. Elle chanta All (Tout) et se classa 7e avec 6 points. En 1964, elle se maria avec le chanteur . Ils n'eurent pas d'enfants et divorcèrent 2 ans plus tard. Elle se maria une deuxième fois avec l'homme d'affaires canadien et devint Patricia Bredin-McCulloch. Cependant son mari mourut quelques jours plus tard.

Patricia Bredin (born 1935) was an British actress and one-time singer from Hull, England, who was best known as the very first United Kingdom representative in the Eurovision Song Contest. She took part in the 1957 contest, held in Frankfurt, and finished in seventh place out of ten entries with the song "All", the first ever song sung in English at the Eurovision.
