Pete Carr (born Jesse Willard Carr in Daytona Beach, Florida, on 22 April 22 1950; died 27 June 2020) was an American guitarist best remembered as one of the most versatile studio guitarists over three decades. In 1973 he was part of Leblanc & Carr, with Lenny LeBlanc. He was lead guitarist for the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and known for his versatility with both electric and acoustic guitars to perform a vast array of musical styles including folk, rock, pop, country, blues and soul. <
