Porto Acre ( Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈpoʁtu ˈakɾi]), originally called Puerto Alonso during Bolivian rule, is a municipality located in the northeast of the Brazilian state of Acre. The economy is mainly based on agriculture. As of 2020 the municipality had an estimated population of 18,824.
