7.1The day after his funeral, the corpse of Varlam Aravidze, the mayor of a small Georgian town, turns up in his son's garden. Although it is secretly reburied, the corpse keeps returning until the police capture the local woman who is responsible. Pokuta (gruz. მონანიება monanieba, ros. Покаяние) – trzecia część tryptyku filmowego gruzińskiego reżysera Tengiza Abuładze z roku 1984 (poprzednie to z 1969 i Drzewo pragnień z 1976), będąca rozrachunkiem z epoką stalinizmu i wnikliwym studium tyranii. Pokuta na ekrany trafiła dopiero w 1986, stając się z miejsca ważnym wydarzeniem, nie tylko filmowym.
