Safet Isović (1936 – September 2, 2007) was a prominent sevdalinka performer from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Throughout his career, which started in 1956, Isović performed at music festivals and won many of them which has contributed to the prevalence and popularity of the sevdalinka. He won the Golden Microphone award in the former Yugoslavia and 35 silver and gold record awards. He died in Sarajevo, on September 2, 2007.
