Salpingitis is an infection causing inflammation in the fallopian tubes (also called salpinges). It is often included in the umbrella term of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), along with endometritis, oophoritis, myometritis, parametritis, and peritonitis.

التهاب البوق (بالإنجليزية: Salpingitis) هو إصابة والتهاب قنوات فالوب. وكثيرا ما يستخدم كمرادف لمرض التهاب الحوض رغم أن مرض التهاب الحوض يفتقر إلى تحديد دقيق، ويمكن أن يشير إلى العديد من أمراض المسالك التناسلية العليا للإناث، مثل التهاب بطانة الرحم، والتهاب المبيض، والتهاب مجاورات الرحم . في المقابل لا يشير التهاب البوق إلا إلى التهاب قنوات فالوب.
