Дрезденская государственная опера (нем. Dresdner Staatsoper), или Земперопер (нем. Semperoper) — оперный театр в Дрездене. Построен по проекту Готфрида Земпера (отсюда местное именование театра). Расположен в «Старом городе» (нем. Altstadt) в непосредственной близости от Цвингера и Дрезденского дворца-резиденции. (нем. Semperoper) —Открытое в 1841 году, здание театра дважды подвергалось разрушению в 1869 году в результате пожара и в 1945 году в результате бомбардировки. После этих разрушений театр восстанавливали в 1878 и в 1985 годах. В Дрезденской опере состоялось множество премьер, включая премьеры опер Рихарда Вагнера («Летучий голландец», «Риенци», «Тангейзер») и Рихарда Штрауса («Саломея», «Кавалер розы», «Электра»). Дрезденская опера является концертным залом для одного из старейших оркестров мира — Саксонской государственной капеллы.
