Sherif Ismail (Arabic: شريف إسماعيل, romanized: Šarīf ʾIsmāʿīl, pronounced [ʃɪˈɾiːf esmæˈʕiːl]; 6 July 1955 – 4 February 2023) was an Egyptian engineer and politician who served as the 53rd prime minister of Egypt from 2015 to 2018. He was also the minister of petroleum and mineral resources from 2013 to 2015.
