Šid (kyrillisch Шид, deutsch veraltet Schid) ist eine Stadt in der Republik Serbien im zur Vojvodina gehörigen Bezirk Srem (Syrmien) und liegt unmittelbar an der Grenze zu Kroatien. Es ist der Hauptort der gleichnamigen Gemeinde. Šid ist mit 16.301 Einwohnern (2002) die sechstgrößte Stadt des Bezirks und liegt an der Straße vom kroatischen Vinkovci nach Sremska Mitrovica. Die Stadt liegt außerdem an der Bahnlinie Belgrad-Zagreb.
