Sriharikota () is a barrier island off the Bay of Bengal coast located in the Shar Project settlement of Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It houses the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, one of the two satellite launch centres in India (the other being SSLV Launch Complex, Kulasekarapattinam). ISRO launches satellites using multistage rockets such as the PSLV and the GSLV from the island. Sriharikota was selected by ISRO because of its proximity to the equator, it gives extra centripetal force from the rotation of Earth.

Sriharikota (en télugu, శ్రీహరికోట) es una isla barrera frente a la costa del estado sureño de Andhra Pradesh en la India. Contiene el único centro de lanzamiento de satélites de la India, en el Centro espacial Satish Dhawan (también conocido como SHAR), que es utilizado por la Organización de Investigación Espacial de la India para el lanzamiento de satélites con cohetes de varias etapas, como el Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (un lanzador orbital indio de tercera generación) y el Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle.
