Steven Maxwell "Steve" Porcaro (born 2 September 1957, Hartford, Connecticut) is a keyboardist and composer who was an original member of the rock / pop band, Toto. Porcaro wrote the song "Takin' It Back" for Toto's first album, and the song was released as a single together with the hit, "Hold The Line". He also wrote "It's A Feeling" for Toto IV and "Lea" for Fahrenheit. He left Toto in 1986 after the Fahrenheit record in order to pursue a more full-time songwriting and composing career. <a h
Steven Maxwell Porcaro, dit « Steve », né le 2 septembre 1957 à Hartford (Connecticut), est un musicien américain. Il est principalement connu pour être un des premiers membres du groupe Toto et le frère de l'un de ses fondateurs, Jeff Porcaro. Mais en dehors de sa participation à Toto, il a contribué à de nombreux albums d'autres artistes, ainsi qu'à la réalisation de bandes originales de films et séries télévisées.
