★ 7.8Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that aired between 1986 and 1990 on the Tokyo Broadcasting System. It featured the Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and sets up difficult challenges for players to get to him. Contestants throw themselves into daunting physical challenges as they attempt to storm Takeshi's Castle and win the grand prize of one million yen. The show has become a cult television hit around the world. A special live "revival" was broadcast on April 2, 2005, for TBS's 50th anniversary celebrations.

Takeshi's Castle (風雲！たけし城, Fūun! Takeshi-jō, litt. Turbulences ! Château Takeshi) était un jeu télévisé japonais diffusé de 1986 à 1990 sur la chaîne télévisée Tokyo Broadcasting System créé par le réalisateur et acteur Takeshi Kitano. La série est diffusée en France en 2006, d'abord sur la chaîne W9 (les samedis soirs vers minuit, à partir d'octobre 2006[réf. nécessaire], en remplacement de Ninja Warrior, dans l'émission Menu W9 présentée par Benjamin Morgaine et Vincent Desagnat. Puis elle est ensuite diffusée sur M6, sous le titre Takeshi : à l'assaut du château, à partir du 26 décembre 2006, les mardi et vendredi à 18 h 55, commentée par Thierry Roland et Moon Dailly.
