5.3Dr. Henry Armitage, an expert in the occult, goes to the old Whateley manor in Dunwich looking for Nancy Wagner, a student who went missing the previous night. He is turned away by Wilbur, the family's insidious heir, who has plans for the young girl. But Armitage won't be deterred. Through conversations with the locals, he soon unearths the Whateleys' darkest secret — as well as a great evil.

The Dunwich Horror es una película de terror estadounidense estrenada en 1970. Basada en el relato homónimo de H. P. Lovecraft, la dirigió Daniel Haller (director en 1965 de otra adaptación de Lovecraft, ) y la produjo Roger Corman para American International Pictures. Supuso la última película del actor Ed Begley, galardonado con un Óscar, y uno de los últimos papeles protagonistas de la antaño muy popular Sandra Dee.
