Timur Selçuk is a renowned Turkish pop music singer, pianist, conductor and composer. He is the son of well-known composer of Turkish neo-classical music, Münir Nurettin Selçuk. Selçuk returned home after his study at the "Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris" and became a pioneer of the political composers in Turkey. With his chansons, he stormed repeatedly the hit lists.
