Das Zehnfingersystem ist die verbreitetste Methode, die zum rationellen Maschinenschreiben (bundesdeutsches und Schweizer Hochdeutsch) bzw. Maschinschreiben (österreichisches Hochdeutsch) bzw. Computerschreiben, also zur Texteingabe mittels Tastatur, verwendet und gelehrt wird. Das Schreiben nach dem Zehnfingersystem wird auch als „Blindschreiben“, „Tastschreiben“ oder „Zehn-Finger-Tastschreiben“ bezeichnet.
