Urmas Alender (November 22, 1953 – September 28, 1994) was the lead singer of Ruja, an Estonian rock band, active in the 70's 80's and 90's. His first band was "Varjud" ("Shadows"). He also sang in the rock bands Ruja, Andromeeda and Propeller. Urmas wrote about 200 songs. Most of them are minor. He was an Estonian patriot. Estonia was all for him.
