Vimperk (deutsch Winterberg) ist eine historische Stadt in Südböhmen. Sie hat ca. 7.400 Einwohner und liegt nahe der deutschen Grenze zu Niederbayern. In der Nähe der Stadt beginnen der Nationalpark Böhmerwald und das Landschaftsschutzgebiet Böhmerwald. Die Stadt wurde durch Glashüttenwesen und Buchdruck, später durch Textilindustrie, Elektronik- und Möbelproduktion bekannt.
