Spiritfarer
Spiritfarer is an indie management sim and sandbox action game developed and published by Canadian studio Thunder Lotus Games. It was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android and Stadia in August 2020. The main character, Stella, becomes a "Spiritfarer" whose job is to ferry the spirits of the deceased to the afterlife, accompanied by her cat, Daffodil. The game revolves around a series of quests given to Stella by the spirits aboard her ship.

Spelunky
Spelunky is a 2008 platform video game created by independent developer Derek Yu and released as source-available freeware for Microsoft Windows. It was remade for the Xbox 360 in 2012, with ports of the new version following for various platforms, including back to Microsoft Windows. The player controls a spelunker who explores a series of caves while collecting treasure, saving damsels, fighting enemies, and dodging traps. The caves are procedurally generated, making each run-through of the game unique.

Growtopia is a massively multiplayer online sandbox video game developed by Ubisoft Abu Dhabi and formerly by indie developers Robinson Technologies and Hamumu Software where players can farm, build worlds, converse with others, and engage in player versus player combat. The game was initially released for Android in November 2012, and later for iOS, Microsoft Windows, and OS X in 2013. It was also released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019, but support for each console would later be discontinued on July 30, 2020.

Godus was designed by Peter Molyneux, who described it as the spiritual successor to his earlier creation, Populous. A real-time strategy, combat game spin-off, Godus Wars, was released in 2016.
