Altamiro Carrilho (born Altamiro Aquino Carrilho; December 21, 1924 in Santo Antônio de Pádua, RJ – August 15, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, RJ) was a Brazilian musician, a flutist and composer. He is widely regarded as a master flutist and a major representative of the Brazilian choro genre, an instrumental musical genre popular in Brazil.
