Andrew Eldritch (born Andrew William Harvey Taylor, May 15, 1959) is the frontman, singer, songwriter and the only remaining original member of The Sisters of Mercy, a band that emerged from the British post punk scene and, in later years, also flirted with pop and hard rock. He also programs The Sisters of Mercy's drum-machine tracks and plays guitars and keyboards in its studio recordings. Lider i frontman grupy rockowej The Sisters of Mercy, z którą jako jedyny nagrał wszystkie płyty. Początkowo był perkusistą, od 1981 roku programuje utwory na automat perkusyjny (znany jako „Doktor Avalanche”). Gra na gitarach i instrumentach klawiszowych w swoich studyjnych nagraniach, na żywo występuje jako wokalista. Eldritch jest znany ze swojego głębokiego i melancholijnego śpiewu (bas-baryton), a także poetyckich, często politycznie naładowanych tekstów.
