Bohuslav Matěj Černohorský (Christened February 16, 1684, Nymburk, Bohemia—July 1, 1742, Graz, Austria) was a famous Czech composer of the baroque era. His fugue "Laudeatur Jesus Christus" is cited by the Baroque Music Library as an excellent example of its kind. Cernohorsky was part of a long line of organist/composers from the Bohemian countryside to rise to fame in Prague. Unlike so many of his Czech contemporaries, Cernohorsky achieved substantial fame in his own lifetime. <a href="https://
