==Geography== Capinópolis is located at an elevation of 545 meters 30 km. south of the Paranaíba River and the Cachoeira Dourada Hydroelectric Station. It belongs to the statistical microregion of Ituiutaba. Neighboring municipalities are Canápolis, Cachoeira Dourada, Ipiaçu e Ituiutaba
