Depside (zu griech. dépsein „erweichen“, „kneten“) sind Kondensationsprodukte aromatischer Hydroxycarbonsäuren, bei denen die Carboxygruppe der einen Säure mit einer phenolischen Hydroxygruppe der anderen verestert ist (Didepside); es können auch drei (Tridepside) oder mehr Hydroxycarbonsäure-Moleküle daran beteiligt sein.
