==Synthesis== Diphenylphosphine can be prepared from triphenylphosphine by reduction to lithium diphenylphosphide, which can be protonated to give the title compound: PPh3 + 2 Li → LiPPh2 + LiPh LiPPh2 + H2O → Ph2PH + LiOH
