Episactidae zijn een familie van rechtvleugelige insecten die behoren tot de kortsprietigen. De familie werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk gepubliceerd door Burr in 1899.[1] De soorten binnen de familie komen voor in Centraal-Amerika, Oost-Azië en Madagaskar.
