OverviewAI-generated
Fire is a physical phenomenon and a form of combustion. It produces thermal energy as an effect and results in heat and ash. The process involves parts such as flame and smoke.
Common uses for fire include roasting and cooking. It is represented by the Unicode character 🔥. The subject appears in the Commons category "Fire" and the gallery titled "Fire." Its main category is listed as Category:Fire.
Fire is described by sources including the Gujin Tushu Jicheng and the Encyclopædia Britannica 11th edition. It is part of the Wikipedia:List of articles all languages should have and the Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/4 focus lists. A template for the topic is available as Template:Fire. The subject is referenced by 1,316 other encyclopedia articles.
