Giovanni Stefano Carbonelli (c. 1690 † 1772) was an Italian composer and violinist. Carbonelli was a pupil of Arcangelo Corelli. He settled to London in 1719 at the invitation of the Earl of Rutland to enter into its services. At times, he was concertmaster of the Handel's opera orchestra. Carbonelli left behind a collection of 12 violin sonatas with basso continuo. This follows the style of Corelli and is dedicated to his patron, the Earl of Rutland. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Giovanni
