グルートフォンテイン(アフリカーンス語: Grootfontein)は、ナミビアの都市。ナミビア北部に位置し、オチョソンデュパ州に属する。国道B8号が通っており、南の首都・ウィントフックや東のカプリビ回廊と連絡している。また、トランスナミブ鉄道の北の終点でもある。グルートフォンテインとは、アフリカーンス語で「大きな泉」（グルート＝大きな、フォンテイン＝泉）を意味するが、これはグルートフォンテインの近くに大きな熱水泉があることに由来する。 グルートフォンテインは1885年、南アフリカ共和国からアンゴラに向かっていたボーア人の一団が建設した。彼らはそのまま北進し、アンゴラのルバンゴ市を建設したが、アンゴラ内陸部に勢力を伸ばそうとしていたポルトガル政府と対立し、ルバンゴはポルトガル領となったため、ボーア人の多くは引き返してきてグルートフォンテインに定住し、の建国を宣言した。しかし1887年にはその宣言は放棄され、やがてこの地に進出してきたドイツによって1893年、ドイツ領南西アフリカの一部に組み込まれた。 グルートフォンテインと北西のツメブ、それに西のとを結ぶ三角形の地域はと呼ばれ、乾燥したナミビアではめずらしい穀物生産地域となっている。オタヴィ・トライアングルの他都市と同じく、夏は緑豊かだが冬は非常に乾燥する。春になると、街中にはジャカランダやホウオウボクの花が咲き乱れる。この街には1896年にドイツの守備隊が置かれたが、その駐屯していた建物は現在では博物館となっている。 街の北西にある鉛やバナジウムのふたつの鉱山が街の経済を支えていたが、現在では閉鎖されている。グルートフォンテインの西24kmの地点には、世界最大の隕石であるホバ隕石が転がっている。
