Nianfo (, ; , ) is a Buddhist practice central to East Asian Buddhism. The Chinese term nianfo is a translation of Sanskrit Buddhānusmṛti| ("recollection of the Buddha"), a classic Buddhist mindfulness (smṛti) practice.
