Opuntia microdasys ist eine Pflanzenart in der Gattung der Opuntien (Opuntia) aus der Familie der Kakteengewächse (Cactaceae). Das Artepitheton microdasys leitet sich vom griechischen Adjektiven „μικρός“ (mikros) für klein und „δασύς“ (dasys) für dichtbehaart ab. Spanische Trivialnamen sind „Cegador“, „Nopal cegador“ und „Nopalillo Cegador“.
