المشهي أو فاتح الشهية (بالإنجليزية: orexigenic أو appetite stimulant) هو الدواء أو الهرمون أو المركب الكيميائي الذي يزيد من الشهية. قد توجد المشهيات طبيعيا على شكل هرمون (ببتيد عصبي) مثل جريلين وأوركسين أو دواء يحفز استهلاك الأكل. عادة ما يعد تحفيز الشهية أثر جانبي غير مرغوب به يؤدي إلى زيادة الوزن، لكن قد يستفاد منها في أمراض معينة يشكو منها المريض من فقدان الوزن مثل التليف الكيسي وفقدان الشهية وكبر السن والسرطان والإيدز. هنالك عدد من الأدوية التي تتسبب بزيادة الشهية تضم عددا من مضادات الاكتئاب ثلاثية الحلقات والكانابينويد المصنعة أو الطبيعية ومضادات الهستامين من الجيل الأول وأغلب مضادات الذهان والكثير من الهرمونات الستيرويدية.
