رومانوس

Romanus was a male Catholic priest, bishop, and Pope who served within the Catholic Church. Born in Gallese, he held the position of Pope and worked in Rome and the Papal States. His name in his native language is Romanus, and he is distinct from Romanos.

He died in 897 in Rome, with poison listed as the cause of death. Romanus is buried in St. Peter's Basilica. He is recognized in the Popes collection.
