Salvatore ridder Adamo (Comiso (Sicilië), 1 november 1943), artiestennaam Adamo, is een Belgische zanger van Italiaans-Siciliaanse afkomst. Hij zingt de door hemzelf geschreven chansons voornamelijk in het Frans, maar ook in zijn moedertaal Italiaans, en in het Nederlands, Engels, Turks, Spaans, Japans en Duits. In 1964 was hij de bestverkopende artiest ter wereld op The Beatles na. In zijn carrière verkocht hij wereldwijd meer dan 100 miljoen albums en singles en is daarmee de bestverkopende Belgische artiest aller tijden.
