Die griechische Insel Samos (griechisch Σάμος (f. sg.), türkisch Sisam) liegt in der östlichen Ägäis und ist der ionischen Küste Kleinasiens vorgelagert. Sie bildet seit 2011 den Regionalbezirk Samos (Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Σάμου Periferiakí Enótita Sámou) in der Region Nördliche Ägäis und ist seit 2019 in die beiden Gemeinden Anatoliki Samos und Dytiki Samos untergliedert. Die Insel hat 32.977 Einwohner (2011). Hauptort ist die gleichnamige Stadt Samos, früher auch Kato Vathy (Κάτω Βαθύ) oder Limin Vatheos (Λιμήν Βαθέος) genannt.
