Shigeaki Saegusa (三枝 成彰, Saegusa Shigeaki), né le 8 juillet 1942, est un compositeur japonais. Il est surtout connu pour son opéra, Chushingura, inspiré du célèbre kabuki Les Quarante-Sept Ronin avec un livret signé du romancier Masahiko Shimada. Il a également composé des musiques de films et des musiques d'animes, en particulier Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam et Mobile Suit Gundam : Char contre-attaque.

Saegusa is best known for his opera version Chushingura of the well-known kabuki epic of the Fort-seven Ronin with a libretto by the novelist Shimada Masahiko. Written over a period of 10 years, the opera was most recently performed at the New National Theatre, Tokyo in 2002.
