In de wiskunde zijn thèta-functies een speciale klasse van functies van meerdere complexe variabelen. Thèta-functies spelen een rol in de theorie van de elliptische functies en kwadratische vormen. De eerste wiskundige die thèta-functies systematisch onderzocht was Carl Gustav Jacob Jacobi.
