Christian Gottfried Körner (* 2. Juli 1756 in Leipzig; † 13. Mai 1831 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller und Jurist. Körner ist der Herausgeber der ersten Gesamtausgabe der Werke seines Freundes Friedrich Schiller und der Herausgeber des poetischen Nachlasses seines Sohnes Theodor Körner.

Christian Gottfried Körner (2 July 1756 – 13 May 1831) was a German jurist. His home was a literary and musical salon, and he was a friend of Friedrich Schiller. Born in Leipzig, he studied law at the University of Göttingen and at the Leipzig University. He got his degrees at Leipzig. In 1783 he became chief councillor of the Lutheran Upper Consistory at Dresden; he was appointed to the office of judge in the Court of Appeals in 1790; and, in 1811, he returned to the appellate court. <a href="
