L'Homo di Denisova o donna X è il nome dato ad un ominide i cui scarsi resti sono stati ritrovati nei Monti Altaj in Siberia. La scoperta è stata annunciata nel marzo 2010, quando al termine della completa analisi del DNA mitocondriale (mtDNA) è stato ipotizzato che potesse trattarsi di una nuova specie.
