Dnipro (em ucraniano: Дніпро; em russo: Днепр) é a quarta maior cidade da Ucrânia, com cerca de um milhão de habitantes. Está localizada no sudeste do país, às margens do rio Dniepre. Dnipro é a capital e centro administrativo do óblast de Dnipropetrovsk. É um dos principais centros industriais da Ucrânia. Foi fundada por Grigori Potemkin em 1787 com a designação de Ekaterinoslav (em russo: Екатериносла́в). Foi designada de Novorossiysk entre 1796 e 1802, recuperando seu nome original de Ekaterinoslav. Em 1926 foi nomeada de Dnipropetrovsk, após o oficial soviético Grigory Petrovsk. Em 2016 passou a se chamar apenas Dnipro, devido à descomunização na Ucrânia. Durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, a cidade foi em grande parte destruída, sendo um dos centros da resistência soviética. O local é a cidade natal de diversas personalidades conhecidas mundialmente, como a mística Helena Blavatsky, a política ucraniana Iúlia Timochenko, o informático norte-americano Leonid Levin, a patinadora e o premier soviético Leonid Brejnev.
