Holoaden is een geslacht van kikkers uit de familie Craugastoridae. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Alípio de Miranda Ribeiro in 1920. Het geslacht wordt vertegenwoordigd door vier soorten. De verschillende soorten hebben vaak een gegranuleerde (gekorrelde) huid en hebben een pad-achtig uiterlijk. Alle soorten zijn endemisch in Brazilië en komen voor in het zuidoosten van het land.

==Taxonomy== Holoaden is the type genus of subfamily Holoadeninae that was erected in 2008 and placed in the newly erected family Strabomantidae. Prior to this, it had been placed in the genus Brachycephalidae.
