May he rest peacefully in heaven. Such an artist is rare. Jackie passed away in February 2008 after many years as one of the most influential musicians in Australian music. His soul and funk outfits, including Jump Back Jack, The Godmothers and The Grandmasters, were training grounds for a generation of talented young musicians.
