Kulyash Baiseitova (Kazakh: Күләш Бәйсейітова; Russian: Куляш Байсеитова, 1905 - 1957) was a legendary opera singer from Kazakhstan, known as the "Kazakh Nightingale". She was born in the city of Vernyi (currently Almaty). In 1928 the Kazakh Drama Theatre moved from Kyzyl-Orda to the new capital of Alma-Ata. Kulyash began working there as soon as in 1929.
