Maemo
Sign in to saveMaemo is a Linux-based software platform originally developed by Nokia, now developed by the community, for smartphones and Internet tablets. The platform comprises both the Maemo operating system and SDK. Maemo played a key role in Nokia's strategy as an attempt to compete with Apple and Android; the only retail devices that shipped with Maemo were the Nokia Internet tablet line released in 2005 and the Nokia N900 smartphone in 2009.

Maemo是一個基於Debian GNU/Linux的操作系统，由諾基亞公司為了智慧型手機及Internet Tablet所開發。它已經被應用在諾基亞N770、N800、N810和N900上。Nokia與很多開源軟件項目（如Linux內核，Debian，GNOME）合作，共同開發Maemo平台。Maemo本身基於Debian因此具有很多Debian特性。 很多應用軟件來自ARM架構的Debian，大多數是第三方軟件。 Maemo是諾基亞的頂級操作系統品牌，用以彌補Symbian OS的某些先天不足。目前Maemo主要是服務於不具備傳統移動電話功能的網絡終端，以及Nokia N900這樣的智能手機。由於其Linux內核的特性，將很容易被移植到筆記本電腦等更多應用的設備上。 Nokia在2010年2月宣佈將Maemo與Intel的Moblin計畫結合，推出MeeGo。
