Propriozeption (zu lateinisch proprius ‚eigen‘ und recipere ‚aufnehmen‘) bezeichnet die Wahrnehmung des eigenen Körpers nach dessen Lage im Raum, den Stellungen von Kopf, Rumpf und Gliedmaßen zueinander sowie deren Veränderungen als Bewegungen mitsamt dem Empfinden für Schwere, Spannung, Kraft und Geschwindigkeit.
