Okulation ist eine Art der Pflanzenveredelung, bei der vom Edelreis nur eine ruhende Knospe („Edelauge“) verwendet wird. Dieses Auge der Edelsorte wird mit einem kleinen Stück der umgebenden Rinde in die Unterlage (oder Mutterpflanze) eingesetzt.
