Siegfried Matthus (born 13 April 1934, in Mallenuppen (now Russian: Задорожье Zadorozhye, Ozyorsky District, Kaliningrad Oblast), Landkreis Darkehmen, East Prussia) is a German composer and opera director living in Berlin and is one of Germany's most often performed contemporary composers.
