L'orso labiato, detto anche orso giocoliere (Melursus ursinus) o orso bradipo (sloth bear) nei paesi anglosassoni, è un orso notturno che abita le foreste di bassopiano di India, Nepal, Bangladesh e Sri Lanka. Ci sono stati anche alcuni avvistamenti in Bhutan. L'orso labiato è l'unica specie di orso classificata nel genere Melursus.
