ソフト・マシーン（Soft Machine）は、イングランド出身のプログレッシヴ・ジャズロック・バンド。 「ワイルド・フラワーズ」を始祖とし、同じ枝分かれした「キャラヴァン」と共にカンタベリー・ミュージックの礎を築いたグループとして知られる。メンバーの出入りに伴い、サイケ→プログレ→ジャズ→フュージョンへと音楽性も多様に変化していった。
